Aula Bella is a black owned business based in Montreal, Canada. I had the opportunity to try out a few products from this line and I wanted to share my thoughts with you.
The shampoo is amazing. It is a rich creamy consistency that produces an overwhelming amount of lather. The packaging works well with dispensing the right amount of product and a little goes a long way. It has a soft lavender and herbal smell that is very soothing and fills the room, it’s almost as if you have a candle burning.
The conditioner is very thick and provides enough slip to detangle. It has the same soft lavender scent. The packaging does not work as well because of the thick consistency and you will likely end up ditching the cap.
I highly recommend the leave-in for anyone who struggles to maintain moisture in their hair. It’s a rich lotion that is non-greasy and leaves your hair soft to the touch. The moisture lasts for days.
The styling gel is natural and actually has ingredients that are really great for your hair. I used it for a wet twist out and it provided a firm hold which gave amazing definition. The firm hold does come along with a crunchy feel which you can try to combat by using an oil or pomade on top.
